BY CAR
We're easily accessible by road from the whole of the west and central Scotland. Based at Junction 26 (eastbound) and Junction 25a (westbound) off Glasgow's M8 motorway and this also now connects to the new M74 too.
BY BUS
Two bus services run along King’s Inch Road, stopping outside Soar providing fast and convenient links to Glasgow, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Glasgow Airport.
- McGill’s service 26 between Glasgow (Renfield St.) – Govan – SGH – intu Braehead – Soar – Renfrew – Paisley – Nethercraigs
- First Group’s service 77 between Buchanan Bus Station – Partick – SGH – intu Braehead – Renfrew – Glasgow Airport
intu Braehead Shopping Centre is next door and has its dedicated bus station and travel information centre, only 7 minutes’ walk from Soar. Over 820 buses pass through here every day providing direct services to a variety of destinations across Glasgow, Inverclyde and Ayrshire.
BY TRAIN
Soar at intu Braehead is easily accessible by train from Glasgow City Centre, as well as from destinations in Inverclyde and Ayrshire. Trains run very frequently from Glasgow Central to Paisley Gilmour Street and regularly from other destinations including Ardrossan, Ayr, Gourock and Wemyss Bay. It is then a short bus ride or a quick hop in a taxi to get to Soar.

BY PLANE
Glasgow International Airport is only 4 miles along the M8 motorway and can be reached really easily on the 747 and 77 bus (detailed above)
Alternatively, if you are flying into Glasgow Prestwick Airport, trains run to Glasgow Central Station every 30 minutes and from there you can jump on a train to Paisley Gilmour Street station.
